… Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.Matthew 19:14 (NIV)
Jesus was not above taking notice of any person and taught his disciples to love also the weakest of believers. South Highland’s Global Witness Season theme focuses us on children not in particular but as representing all people around the world whose needs are great, including those who haven’t yet heard the Good News.
Meeting in person those people in the mission field whose work we support helps us put faces to names and gives shape to our mission giving. Join us all month long in February as we hear from SHPC-supported missionaries working in some desperate and even dangerous places, ministering to those in need and sharing God’s agape love.
SHPC Global Witness supports these and many other missionaries around the world, that God’s love would be made known. The Global Witness Offering will be on Sunday, February 26. Watch for pledge cards in the pews or click below to make your pledge or gift. Be sure to select “Global Witness” in the fund menu.
