Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama (ACA) supports memory care and adult daycare centers around our part of the state, and our own South Highland Center is one of those supported programs. The money we receive provides scholarship funds so our clients can attend SHC and benefit from the loving and faithful care we provide.
The Walk to Remember each November raises funds for ACA, and The South Highland Center sends a Walk Team to be a part of that.
You can support our Walk Team by purchasing Chef Joe Whitley’s delicious soups, pimiento cheese and blueberry scones. Place your order now and pick up on Thursday, September 14 between 3-5:30 in the circular drive on Highland Avenue.
- Choose between two varieties of soup: Roasted Red Pepper and Smoked Gouda Bisque and White Chicken Chili. Each comes in a one-quart container for a suggested donation of $15.
- Smoky Joe’s Pimiento Cheese comes in an 8-ounce container for an $8 donation.
- Enjoy one dozen Blueberry Scones for a $12 donation.
