Sunday Worship
We gather for corporate worship every Sunday morning. Our worship style is traditional yet relaxed. We worship God by praying together, reading the Bible, singing hymns, listening to a sermon based on Scripture, and celebrating the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Worship Services: 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel and 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary. The 11 a.m. service is also livestreamed. Church Picnic
Gather in Homewood’s Central Park for SHPC’s 2024 Church Picnic Sunday, April 28 from 3-6 p.m. Bring your picnic blankets, camp chairs, frisbees, footballs, plus a side dish or dessert to share. We’ll provide the fried chicken and drinks; dinner will be served at 5:00. See you for the picnic!

Garden Art Party Silent Auction
Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama hosts this year’s Garden Art Party May 4th at the Events at Haven space in downtown Birmingham. This event and auction brings in much-needed funding to ACA, who provides monthly scholarships for the South Highland Center to offer its clients.
