Plan Your Visit

Welcome

We’re delighted that you’re interested in visiting South Highland! No matter who you are, we welcome you in the name of Christ.

Below you’ll find information to help you know what to expect. If you have any questions, please call the church office at (205) 933-0790 or email us.

Sundays at SHPC

We gather for corporate worship every Sunday morning. Our worship style is traditional yet relaxed. We worship God by praying together, reading the Bible, singing hymns, listening to a sermon based on Scripture, and celebrating the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Services: 8:30 a.m. in the chapel and 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. The 11 a.m. service is also livestreamed.

Sunday School: From 9:30–10:30, many of our members gather in classes for more relational community and deeper Bible study. Click here to learn more about class offerings and how to get involved.

Childcare

Childcare is available in the nursery for children 2 and under from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Children 3 years old—5th grade have Sunday School at 9:30 a.m.

During the 11 a.m. service, kids ages 3—kindergarten sit in the sanctuary with parents, and then leave after the children’s message.

If you have any questions about the nursery or children’s Sunday School, contact Director of Children’s Ministry Katya O’Leary. She would be happy to help you plan your visit.

What to Wear

On Sunday mornings, attendees wear everything from suits and dresses to tee shirts and shorts. You’re invited to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
