Director of Children’s Ministry Ann Roth, in collaboration with our pastors, has selected Lifeway’s The Gospel Project for Kids as the primary resource to support SHPC’s growing children’s Sunday School program.
This curriculum provides a highly appropriate, theologically sound program for our children’s ministry, providing a foundation of Biblical knowledge that will help our kids develop an ongoing relationship with God. The Gospel Project provides resources such as lesson plans, activities, parent communications and more, giving our volunteers an actual lesson they can read ahead of time to prepare for the activities to come on Sunday morning. Volunteers can log in to the online platform and have access to all the resources necessary to be prepared to help.
“I have taught the GP at the last church I worked for, and I loved it,” says Ann. “It is a 3-year cycle that goes through the entire Bible in three years.” She says the current cycle started last September and should carry the kids through Revelation sometime in August of 2025.
