THE SESSION HAS CALLED A CONGREGATIONAL MEETING FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 30, 2026, IN THE SANCTUARY, IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE 11:00 A.M. WORSHIP SERVICE FOR THE PURPOSE OF:
- electing three elders to the class of 2029;
- electing one elder to finish the remaining term of Ken Oliver in the class of 2027;
- electing six deacons to the class of 2029;
- electing one trustee the class of 2029;and
- voting on the change in the congregation’s rules to delete the youth member of the Nominating Committee.
NOMINATING PROCEDURE The Nominating Committee has selected nominees to submit to the congregation for officers. Additionally, nominations may be made from the floor. The permission of a nominee must be obtained before placing that person’s name in nomination. In the event prior consent of a nominee has not been obtained at the time of nomination, the nominee must be present to accept or decline the nomination.
