[Driving access to the church is restricted on Race Day. Your best approach is from the south, avoiding Highland Avenue, 20th Street and Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd.]
Here’s your last chance to clap, shout, wave, encourage, cheer and hydrate runners in the Mercedes Marathon! The annual race, established in 2001, is running its final event on Sunday, February 12. South Highland has been a mile sponsor for many years as an outreach ministry, shining God’s light in the Southside community. Come out and join the SHPC squad of volunteers supporting the marathon runners and walkers. See details below; for information you can email Polly Edwards or call 205-213-4870.
