SHPC Global Witness Offering at Work
Thursday through Saturday of this week (October 23-25, 2025), people from around the country have been gathered in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on the campus of Stillman College for the meeting of PC(USA)’s Congo Mission Network. They have heard from and interacted with representatives from our mission partners in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Sunday Morning, October 26 at 9:30 a.m., our Adult Sunday School classes will gather together in Davis Family Hall to hear from Jimmy Shafe, whose parents spent years there in mission service, and Jimmy, his high school years. Since 2000, Jimmy has maintained a strong relationship with church partners there, having made twelve 2-3 week-long visits over the past 19 years. Plan to join Jimmy in Davis Family Hall for news about current initiatives in Congo that SHPC supports through South Highland’s Global Witness Offering.
